Ok I just now noticed none of my old macros that include trinkets use the trinket no matter how I type it out the trinket wont work in the macro.

The trinket item slot is unlocked when a trinket is added to your inventory for the first time.

Did you try equipping one in your trinket slot like a ring? ... Not sure what the Anvil can do for this trinket, its a fun trinket dont get me wrong, but I will probably have to pocket it when I do dungeon runs.
